Melissa, adventure sailor, and her sailboats, Acedia, a Freedom 38 Sloop and newest member of the family, σίλφη (Silphē), the Waszp.
Melissa has owned and lived on Acedia since 2005. Spring 2015 marked the 10th anniversary of the Lady Captain and her boat; and for Acedia’s decade year it was decided to deck her out and have a decade epic sail adventure.
So there they went…Sailing. Adventures. And Advocating positive impacts through ocean stewardship, healthy food economy (Farm to Boat!) and ecologically minded living.

So The Lady Captain (aka “Captain Melissa” (she hates that btw), aka “Captain Goofball”) has sailed from Boston to Bermuda, then on to Antigua. What’s the next port of call?
